The 17th Global Symposium (GS

16th December, 2009 at Hotel Hyatt
Regency, New Delhi, India, is a unique
Symposium which will address the two
major streams of Society - the Industrial

In the Industrial stream, it will

and manufacturing sectors while
in the Social stream, it will address
the corporate social responsibility,
employment and health & education

The way has been long and very
laborious, we have had to adapt three
versions of the ICB (a clear indicator
of the life and evolution of the model,
at the end of the next year we will
start talking about the ICB 4), a very
demanding version of the ICRG 3 (IPMA
competence and Regulation Baseline),
as well as every requirement of the
ISO 17024 and the specific ones at
request of ENAC (Entidad Nacional de
Acreditacion= Spanish Accreditation

The OCDP was adapted and published
the NCB 3 in July 2006, in the course
of 2006 and during the first quarter
of 2007 we revised, completed and
adapted the QAS (Quality Assurance
System) with its corresponding
Certification Operative Procedures,
and in May 2007 we submitted the Assessors Team in the Certification Session of Valladolid with the ENAC Auditors
application for accreditation before
ENAC. Since this date and until obtaining Left to right: Ignacio de los RÌos, OCDP Quality Manager and OCDP Training Assessor in this

the corrective actions to the non-

the OCDP. It was almost two years since
the submission of the application, three
years since the publication of the NCB 3
(a total of four years if we bear in mind
the time spent to adapt and translate it
from the ICB 3) and ten years since the
establishment of the OCDP.
My sincere gratitude to all of those
that have made possible this important
Therefore, we have the satisfaction to
communicate that the OCDP of AEIPRO
has managed to be accredited by ENAC

category 011 (Project Managers).
