A new and flexible way to study University of Sunderland modules
Unsure of committing yourself to studying for a degree? Why not try the Independent

The University of Sunderland is now offering part-time study courses in work
based learning. Each programme is individually designed by you and a tutor in
subject areas which are applicable or complementary to your work. You may
choose to do this for career development or for personal development. Even if
you haven’t studied at the university before, these may still be just right for
you as there are five different levels at which you can study. The level at which
you study is determined at an informal interview and will be based on your
work experience, level of responsibility and your qualifications.

All students must take the compulsory module Managing Own Learning (10 credits) while studying up to
a further 50 credits. You can start your own compulsory module at any time.
