This table includes prescriptions for FAA provisions and clauses, which should be used
when preparing screening information requests (SIR‘s) and contracts. Clauses and
provisions may be incorporated by reference by listing the clause number, title, and

information filled-in. The Contracting Officer, with legal concurrence, may modify
provisions and clauses. Any modified provision or clause shall be included in full text.
Also, certain provisions and clause are strongly recommended because they include
important terms and conditions necessary to ensure rights and obligations of the parties are
properly stated; these provisions and clauses should be used when applicable.
The following letter codes are used in this table:
P - Provision. Applies to preaward and is used in screening information requests
only.
C - Clause. Applies to both preaward and post award and is used in both screening
information requests and contracts.
R - Required. The particular provision or clause shall be used when applicable
because the FAA remains subject to the underlying statute, regulation, executive order, or
policy. Also, certain provisions and clauses, e.g., contract disputes, termination for default,
etc., are necessary for a legally sufficient document and shall be used when applicable.
X - Certification/Representation/Information. The particular provision or clause
requires offerors or contractors to fill-in information. These provisions or clauses shall be
used in full text.
THE DATA DISPLAYED IN THIS ATTACHMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL

Notices and Certification Accounting Standards as specified in 48 CFR 99, Subpart 9903.201 with the
following exceptions: (a) contracts awarded on the basis of price alone; (b)
negotiated contracts and subcontracts under $500,000; (c) contracts and
subcontracts with small businesses; (d) in which price is set by law or regulation;
(e) for commercial items; (f) to be executed outside the U.S., its territories or
possessions; or (g) with educational institutions other than those to be performed
by Federally Funded Research and Development Centers.
