We are a registered and bonded vacation-property rental company adhering to all the regulations of the British Columbia Travel Agents Act. To enhance the bene ts of your property and maintain the proper use of your belongings, we request that you provide a detailed “Home Manual” to guests, a guide to creation of which is attached. Any seasonal photographs and/or promotional material that you may supply will assist us in promoting your property. All homes are thoroughly cleaned by our professional cleaners before and after each booking. Listing your home with Elite Vacation Homes
Once you have decided to list your home with us, the procedure to get your home included in our portfolio is straight-forward and clear. 1. The listing contract Together we complete a listing Contract. This contract includes details about the relationship be tween you and Elite Vacation Homes, including how much money your rental property will generate, what dates are available and your requirements. We recommend you take some time to read through this carefully. 2. Listing a condo Some strata bylaws prevent owners from renting their units. If you are unsure as to the rental provi sions for your building, you should check with the building management. 3. Your listing and photo shoot During this process, our sta photographer will come to your home and capture photos that will show your property in a professional and attractive manner. We will also develop the listing information that will include a written description of the property and its key features. 4. Home owner manual For every home we represent, a Home Owner Manual is created to feature the unique attributes of the home. These include details such as garbage days in the neighborhood, septic sensi tivities, alarm codes, appliance usage, etc. We can create this guide for a fee or, if you wish, we will give you a template that you can work from. 5. Website listing Our professional WEB programmers will cre ate the online database record of your property and display your home’s photographs for online access. 6. Schedule of availability We will work with you to create a schedule of times when you wish to make the home avail able. This calendar will be used to inform our renters about your property’s availability. In some cases, we receive speci c requests from our renters for dates that may fall outside the pre-arranged dates. In these situation, we will contact you to determine if you wish to make the property available for these additional dates.

HOW DO YOU ADVERTISE? We actively market our properties online and through a wide array of publications. We have been building our business since 1994 and have a very strong group of repeat clients. You can nd advertising for EVH in: Good Times Magazine, Tourism Victoria, Tourism Vancouver Island, BC Ferries, Times Columnist, Globe & Mail, BC Travel, Many Travel websites & Internet Marketing. ARE YOU RELIABLE? Yes. We are proud to be the only home vacation rental company that is a member of the better Business Bureau also the America Society of Travel Agents and the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce. We have a signi cant list of clients that you can contact should you require a referral. WHAT KIND OF PROPERTIES DO BEST? We have found that modern contemporary properties with high end/gourmet kitchens, large bedrooms, with high speed internet access, minimum two bathroom properties do best. In the summer months the larger oceanfront properties (5 bedrooms plus) and downtown 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom con dos do very well! In the winter months (especially January to March when all the snowbirds come from back east) 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms condos do best! ARE THERE ANY EXTRA CHARGES? There are some small fees you will want to keep in mind. Credit Card fees, cheque deposit, extra maintenance above and beyond regular usage (such as appliances, furnace, etc.) will be charged to your account. At no time will we process a charge to you without your prior knowledge. HOW DOES THE CLEANING WORK? Our professional cleaning company, “Guardian Angel” provides the best cleaning services to our clients. Prior to your return our team will have thoroughly prepared your property to ensure it is ready for you to come home to. All cleaning services are charged back to the guest. WHAT ABOUT PETS & CHILDREN? Pets: If agreeable to the homeowner, small dogs are allowable ( a larger security deposit is taken). With more people traveling with their pets, restricting pets may impact our ability to nd clients for your home. Children: We encour age our property owners to allow children, especially in the high summer season, as this makes the property more marketable. DO YOU OFFER INSURANCE? We recommend Cadboro Bay Insurance, an established rm located here in Victoria. Contact Brian Harriot at (250) 477.1357 for further information. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO GET OUR PROPERTY GUEST FRIENDLY? Your home should be “Hotel Standard Clean”, fridge clear, cupboard space available, personal e ects gone, bedroom bathroom free of clutter, any “priceless or objects of sentimental value” should be stored. DOES ANYONE CHECKS THE PROPERTY AFTER GUEST HAS VACATED? Yes, our fully trained sta inspect your home and provide a complete assessment.
