two-way water /glycol regulating valve rated for 350 psig. w.w.p.

Three-Way, Head Pressure Regulating Valve

Each refrigerant circuit’s head pressure shall be controlled by a factory supplied and field
installed:
         * 3-Way, 150 psig w.w.p. head pressure valve: or
         * 3-Way, 350 psig w.w.p. head pressure valve.

2.17    DX - Capacity Modulation/Freeze -Protection

2.17.1 Snap-Acting, Hot Gas Bypass (Models Available FCS-( )-AR, W & G)

The FLAiR floor A/C units shall incorporate a hot gas bypass system to provide modulation of the
unit’s cooling capacity. This options shall also provide evaporator coil freeze protection under
low load conditions. The Snap-Acting system is only available on those systems where the
compressor is located in the evaporator section.
2.17.2 Modulating Chilled Water Control Valves

 2-Way, 250 psig w.w.p. chilled water modulating valve shall be factory piped and
    wired. The valve shall automatically meter the flow of chilled water to the
    cooling coil in response to a proportional signal (typically 0-10 VDC) provided
    to the valve by the A-Tech-20 proportional controller.

 3-Way, 250 psig w.w.p. chilled water modulating valve shall be factory piped and
    wired. The valve shall automatically meter the flow of chilled water to the
    cooling coil in response to a proportional signal (typically 0-10 VDC) provided
    to the valve by the A-Tech-20 proportional controller. If the cooling demand]
    falls below the system’s maximum cooling capacity, the superfluous coolant
    shall be diverted back to the chilled water source.

 3-Way, 150 psig w.w.p. chilled water slow-close motorized valve shall be factory
    piped and wired.

2.18.1 Condensate Pump

The condensate pump shall have the capacity of ______gpm (l/s) at _______ft (kpa) of head.
The condensate pump shall be specifically designed to operate with the higher condensate
temperatures caused by the flush and drain cycle of the electrode canister humdifiers.

2.18.2 Smoke Detection

An ionized smoke detector shall be factory installed and wired in the evaporator section of the
suction side of the evaporator blower. The air conditioner will shut down upon sensing smoke in
the return air stream.

2.18.3 Firestat

The air conditioner shall be provided with a factory wired and mounted firestat. The firestat will
shut down the air conditioner upon sensing a high return air temperature.

2.18.4 Remote Water Detector

A remote single point water/leak detector shall be included to provide additional safety to the
standard condensate pan safety floats. Upon sensing a water leak, the normally closed water
detector control circuit opens, which will cause the air conditioner to shut down.
