									Vacation
                              Stone Barns Center’s Vacation Camps are designed to bring
                              students in kindergarten through 5th grade to Stone Barns




Camp
                              Center during school vacation weeks. Each day at Vacation
                              Camp includes hands-on chores, in-depth examinations
                              and, for the Farm Explorers, stories and crafts. Each session
                              includes garden work, animal chores, cooking, crafts, games
                              and hiking. Vacation Camps foster a love for the natural


         Farm
                              world and teach both the Farm Explorers and Farmers-in-
on the                        Training to appreciate their local farm.

                              Campers can sign up by the day or by the week.

     2009
                                 Winter Camp: February 17–20
                                 Farm Explorers, Grades K–2
                                 Farmers-in-Training, Grades 3–5
                                 Stone Barns Center is a four-season farm. Winter
                                 Campers learn how to care for plants and animals
                                 during colder months. Campers also explore the
                                 Rockefeller State Park Preserve, create snacks and
                                 crafts, and play games.

                                 Members: $270/Session or $72/Day
                                 Non-Members: $300/Session or $80/Day


                                 Spring Camp: April 6–10
                                 Farm Explorers, Grades K–2
                                 Farmers-in-Training, Grades 3–5
                                 Spring Campers meet new lambs and piglets and
                                 help our gardeners prepare plant beds for the
                                 upcoming season. Farm chores may include egg
                                 collecting, feeding pigs and working in the greenhouse.
                                 Activities also include crafts, games and snacks.

                                 Members: $337.50/Session or $72/Day
                                 Non-Members: $375/Session or $80/Day

                                  All campers enjoy a full day of activities on the farm
                                                from 9:00 am–3:30 pm.
                                         Space is limited. Please register early!

STONE BARNS CENTER FOR FOOD AND AGRICULTURE (“SBC”) acknowledges that your child has voluntarily enrolled in Stone Barns Center
Vacation Camp on SBC’s property located at 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills, New York (the “Property”), February 17–20 and/or April 6–10,
2009 .

SBC is a working farm. As such, heavy duty farming equipment, live animals, electrified fences, and other such hazards inherent to farming
activities exist on the Property and may pose a danger to your child. In addition SBC is in the process of completing construction and renovation
work on the Property, and the Vacation Camp program may expose your child to the many hazards of a construction site. You acknowledge that
these hazards exist and agree to assume full responsibility for your child and understand and agree to accept any risk of injury in connection with
your child’s participation in the Vacation Camp or your child’s presence on the Property.

You, by signing this Release and Waiver of Liability, on behalf of yourself, your child and any of you or your child’s dependents, heirs, executors,
administrators, legal representatives and assigns, hereby release and hold harmless SBC and its officers, directors, trustees, employees, agents,
licensees or representatives from any and all liability resulting from any injury your child may sustain in connection with and arising out of such
hazards, or in connection with your child’s participation in the Vacation Camp, or your child’s presence on the Property. You further waive any
claims or causes of action that you, your child or you or your child’s dependents, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives and assigns
may have against SBC and its officers, directors, trustees, employees, agents, licensees or representatives, to the extent that such claims or causes
of action arise out of events or circumstances in connection with the hazards referred to above, with your child’s participation in the Vacation
Camp, or your child’s presence on the Property. You acknowledge that SBC is undertaking no duties with respect to you or your child.
