May 8 Softball @ Potlatch – double, 1:00, bus leaves Pierce @ 7:00 Jr. High Track @ Kamiah, 10:00, bus leaves Pierce @ 8:00 AR – 10 pts. – 100 point Club – Birthdays for Today: Student: Staff: Fred Mercer is conducting his annual Kamiah Basketball Camp again this summer. Applications are in the office and posted by the phone in the hall. Boys & Girls, grades 3 to 12 are eligible to participate in this camp. The annual staff does not have pictures for junior high football or junior high girls basketball--if you want pictures in the annual of those sports and have some we can use, please contact Mrs. Osborn. Last day to take AR tests will be May 26 --- ALSO Library will be closed May 27 with all books due. Will post the day AR store will be open. Seniors ----library accounts must be clear before graduation The Jr. Hi Track Team did an excellent job last night at Lapwai. The team had 24 personal records & 1 relay personal record. They also earned numerous medals & ribbons. We are all very proud of them. Not more lunch charges after Monday, May 10. Lunch for Today: Pizza, Salad, Pineapple, Rice Krispie treats & Milk __________________________________________________________________________ SCHOLARSHIPS: 1. The following scholarships are Due May 10th:Jess & Maxine Johnstun, Timberline EMT, White Pine Rebekah, Nelson Fromelt, Pierce Lion's Club. See Mrs. Tschida for applications. 2. Interviews for the Show & Shine Scholarship are scheduled for Thursday morning. Those who have applied will be interviewed. 3. The Lion’s Club Scholarship has $600 written on it, it is incorrect. The amount is $300. All seniors taking an IDLA class, must schedule their final with Mrs. Bonner during the week of May 3-7th. All course work must be completed before you take the final. See her this week to get your final schedule. For anyone who needs a sports physical they will be given at the Clearwater Valley Hospital & Clinic for $25, $15 of which will be donated back to the school. Appointments must be made to be seen in June. There is a brochure on the office window for further information. Those students invited to the Awards banquet, please return your invitation with how many people will attend ASAP. It's important that the right amount of food is prepared. Clearwater County Students ages 13-18 have a competition for 3 prizes $1500, $1000 & $500. To win a prize, the student will create an ANTI-Meth art project. It can be a sculpture, a painting, etc which has public visibility. Examples are on the bulletin board near the front entry. There will be a presentation for this on May 17th during Advisory. Registration is at www.paintthestate.org Examples are on line www.paintthestate2006.org. All students must have their fee accounts paid before the end of school, particularly the Seniors. You will be given a statement of money owed. There are still some sports fees outstanding that must be paid also. There will be a girls basketball camp on June 21 and 22 from 9 to noon with Bobbi Hazeltine from Walla Walla.
