							                 ALLEGAN HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

                                       May 7, 2010

 Any bowlers from the 2009-10 season that did not pick up awards you can do so in
  the athletic office.

 Attention guys interested in being a part of Allegan Tennis 2010. There will be a
  meeting immediately after school on Monday to get information concerning the
  upcoming season. No experience required, just a desire to be part of the fun and the
  challenge of Allegan Tennis. See Mr. Ellis if you have any questions.

 All boys that are interested in playing soccer for AHS in the fall of 2010 - there will
  be no meeting on Monday. But sign up on a sign up sheet in the main office by the
  athletic desk and pick up an informational sheet and season information. Questions
  call Coach Evan at North Ward Elementary.

 Girl's golf sign-up will be on Monday, May 10th in the conference room across from
  the office right after school.

 Attention football players! We can begin having four man workouts to prepare for
  this summer and next falls playoff season. We will conduct these before and after
  school when players are available. If you are interested, contact Coach Dame.

 Any high school student that is interested in coaching age-group swimming this
  summer to please drop off a resume to Coach Solis or in the coaches pool office after
  school. The hours will be from 8:00-11:30 every day.

 Do you still need community service hours? Stop by the athletic office today and see
  Mrs. Bayley – there are still some spots left to help out at the middle school track
  meets.

 There will be a homeroom next week Tuesday, May 7th at the beginning of 3rd hour.

 Our school has been nominated to participate in a program sending our student
  signatures to space in July. If you would like to participate with the Astronomy class
  in celebrating Space Day 2010 on Friday and sign the ―Embrace Space‖ poster stop
  by room 613 and see Mrs. Robinson! Teachers and students are welcome to be a
  part!!

 A little less than two weeks. That’s about how long the Orange Krate will be open
  this year. We have a good variety of clothes left all at unbelievably low prices. Your
  Krate Krew encourages you to stop in today and check these out. Remember, once
  they’re gone, they’re gone. Thanks again from Omar and the gang.
 Are you interested in being a class officer? Pick up a packet in the main office Due
  back May 14th.

 Attention all students interested in PALs next year. There will be a short video after
  announcements on Friday regarding PALs. After the video, please fill out the survey
  if you want to be in PALs next year.

 Attention artists! Cover designs for the 2010-2011 ―Student Planner‖ are wanted by
  May 17 and we need your help! Please see Mr. Eichbauer if you need the guidelines
  or have questions.

 Segment 1 driver education classes for summer have been posted on the main office
  window. Please copy down the dates and times of your classes and take home to share
  with your parents. This is the only notification you will receive. Free vision
  screening for these classes will be at the high school on May 12th and May 19th. If
  you wear glasses or contact lenses please wear them to the screening.

 Segment 2 driver education sign-up for May class is in the main office. The final
  class for this school year will be May 18, 19 and 20 – Tuesday, Wednesday and
  Thursday in room #1010 from 2:40-4:40 P.M. If you signed up and have not
  turned in your login and level 1 paper please do so soon.

 Post-prom /Grad-bash committee will be having their annual flower sale on Friday,
  May 7 from Noon-6 P.M. and Saturday, May 8 from 9 A.M.-4 P.M. There will be
  hanging baskets, vegetables, and flat of flowers.

 It’s a scientific fact that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and the Krate
  wants to make sure that you are raring and set to go for graduation. So we are once
  again providing all seniors with a free breakfast the morning of graduation. But, you
  must sign up first in order to attend. Stop by the Krate today as you won’t want to
  miss this kick off activity to the most important day of your life. Thanks again from
  this years Krate Krew.

 Seniors – Grad-Bash sign up sheet is in the front office. Sign up A.S.A.P. The
  committee needs the final count by Friday, May 14. Once again this year there is no
  cost to students for this activity.

 Seniors-You may stop by the main office to pick up your graduation supplies that you
  ordered from Jostens.

 Computer Technology Camp at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI on Sunday,
  June 20-23. Stay on campus in the dorm. $325.00 –only 25 openings. Act NOW!
  See counseling office for more information.

 Bus trip to Grand Valley State University, Thursday, 5/13, for Jrs. & Srs., permission
  slip in the guidance office.
 Summer School Information in the Guidance Office-please see your counselor.
