                                            Welcome


     Our goal is to delight your senses, create a memorable event, and provide a
     pleasurable experience. OSU Catering would like to provide inspired cuisine and
     exceptional service at your next event.


Our Story

     OSU Catering is comprised of professionals and students working together to provide an
     outstanding service to OSU campus and the local community. We strive to make a positive
     difference in Oregon. A professional staff dedicated to mentoring student employees in
     various roles at a variety of events, as well as supporting their academic and personal success.
     Whether the event is held on campus or off campus, OSU Catering is at your service. We
     offer cuisine for a variety of events including small intimate gatherings, business meetings,
     conferences, banquets, picnics, weddings and black tie affairs.


     Our standard catering menu offers an excellent variety of culinary choices, prepared by our
     award-wining staff and served with professional flair. We do our best to keep our prices
     affordable, in order to support the college community and student groups on and off campus.


Our Promise


     We aspire to provide inspired cuisine and excellent service that will impress you.
     Our staff goes through extensive training and exemplifies the elements of our customer
     service PRIDE program. Efforts to please are only surpassed by their desire to achieve.


     We will do our best to work within your budget to design a menu for your event.
     If you cannot find a menu to satisfy your needs, our professional staff will help you customize
     any menu to include a personal favorite or a new recipe. We are also skilled in creating menus
     to provide specialized meal service for dietary restrictions or cultural preferences.
     We foster, support, and advocate for an increasingly inclusive environment and community
     through understanding, enhancing, promoting, and celebrating the uniqueness of our clients,
     students, staff, faculty, and administration.

*Sunrise Bagels and More opened their family operated bagel deli store October 7, 1994, in Vancouver,
Washington. Their bagels quickly became known as the “Original Northwest Bagel.” The bagels we receive
are produced in their Portland store.

*Be-Bop Biscotti of Bend, Oregon is a small, family-run business that was started by Sarah and Michael
Holmes in 1999. Be-Bop Biscotti are freshly baked using only the finest ingredients available and are hand-
dipped and creatively finished in a variety of Guittard Chocolates.

A savory bagel with cream cheese and peanut butter and jelly, whole fruit (apple, banana, or orange),

Turkey Club
Comprised of turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch mayo on a whole wheat

Chicken Caesar
Made with chicken, romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and a Caesar dressing in a flour tortilla.
Mediterranean
Our balsamic chicken is accompanied by cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, lettuce, and a
tzatziki dressing in a flour tortilla.
Chipotle Steak
This wrap includes thinly sliced steak, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and a chipotle mayo in a chili
pepper tortilla.
Thai Chicken
Red cabbage, cucumbers, red peppers, and carrots tossed with chicken in a ginger-Thai peanut
sauce in a chili pepper tortilla.
Vegetarian Wrap
A medley of fresh grilled vegetables, lettuce, cream cheese, pesto mayo, and a whole wheat tortilla
complete this wrap.

Policies
Menu Selection
Designing a menu for your event can be done with the OSU Catering coordinators at
(541) 737-1600. Menus chosen less than 14 days in advance are subject to availability.

Guaranteed Numbers
To provide the highest quality service, we ask that you provide a guaranteed number of guests who will be served at the
event. The guaranteed number must be finalized with our office three business days prior to the event. An earlier date will
be required for groups with over 100 guests or with special menus. Charges will be based on the guaranteed number or
actual number served, whichever is greater. Any number increase within the three business days will be subject to the 10%
price increase. Due to food safety issues, all leftover foods remain the property of OSU Catering and may not be taken
from the event. We make every effort to donate leftover foods to the Linn Benton Food Share.

Service Costs
Catering prices for served breakfasts and lunches are based on a service time of one hour and thirty minutes. Served
dinners & receptions are based on two hours of service. If a speaker or program is part of your event, please arrange with
OSU Catering to have the event staffed to the conclusion of your program. We are happy to extend the service time for
an additional charge of $20 per hr/per server. The number of servers depends on the type of service required at the event.

Cancellations
Cancellations will be accepted as late as 5pm three days prior to the event. However, any cancelations received after 5pm
three business days before the event will be charged 80% of the contract amount. Additionally, any cancelations received
after 5pm two days prior to the event may be charged 100% of the contract amount.

Minimum Charges
For events scheduled at campus facilities, the minimum order is $25 plus a $10 delivery fee, Monday through Friday from
6am to 6pm. For events starting or ending at or later than 6pm during the week the minimum order is $50 plus the $10
delivery fee. On weekends and official holidays there is a $75 minimum and a $20 delivery fee.

Placing an Order within Three Business Days of Event Date
There will be an additional fee of 10% of the total bill charged to your order or $20, whichever is greater.

Delivery and Pickup Service
Paper and plastic products are included with the listed menu price. OSU Catering will provide linen tablecloths, however it
is the responsibility of the customer to provide serving tables. If the customer needs assistance in acquiring tables contact us
at (541) 737-1600, and one of our customer service representatives can help. The room or facility must be unlocked 30
minutes prior to the event start time. The replacement value for any lost or damaged equipment will be charged to the
customer and will be included within the final bill. An additional delivery fee will be incurred if OSU Catering must make an
unscheduled return trip due to locked rooms, meetings running late, or for any other reason the location or our equipment is
not available to us at the specified delivery and pickup times.

Facility Charges
Events scheduled at Memorial Union, LaSells Stewart Center, or Marketplace West or Mc Nary will incur
an additional 5% facility fee on all food and beverage. Events scheduled at CH2M Hill Alumni Center will
incur an additional 10% facility fee on all food and beverage.

Alcohol Policies
Oregon State University Catering provides high quality food and professional service to all of our
customers. Food is our number one focus; however beer and wine are served to complement the menu
items chosen by our customers. Alcohol is served in a responsible manner by trained and
knowledgeable staff. OSU Catering values a safe and responsible atmosphere where customers may
choose to consume beer and wine. We offer a variety of microbrews and a selection of Oregon wines.
Glassware is available for an additional charge.
The following requirements must be met for OSU Catering to provide alcohol service:
         Only beer and wine will be served. No hard alcohol.
         For University events, no guests under the age of 21 will be present.
         OSU Catering reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any person.
         Food must be included in all alcohol orders. The Catering Manager must approve the menu and quantity of both
          food and alcohol.
         Alcohol will not be available until food is served.
         Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for guests at all times during the event.
         Alcohol service will end 30 minutes prior to the conclusion of the event.
         Alcohol consumption is limited to the immediate premises where alcohol is being served.
         OSU Catering charges a $50 fee for the OLCC license and includes all required alcohol service forms.
Hosted Bars: The client pays for all beverages for the duration of the event. All the beverages are billed by a consumption
basis. An event that runs over 2 hours will be charged $25 per hour per server. The client has the option of supplying their
own beer or wine and will be charged $25 per server per hour for length of their event, as well as a corking fee.
No-Host / Cash Bar: Guests purchase beverages at a no host bar. There is a $50 per hour minimum revenue requirement
per each 50 guests. If the minimum requirement is not fulfilled, the client will be charged the difference.

Service Fees
         Served buffets can be arranged and are recommended for larger events or multiple entrée choices.
         Table service for meals is $ 1.50 per guaranteed person.
         Extended service (including additional setup, cleanup, or extended event labor) will be billed at $20.00 per hour
         Cake cutting fee is $12 for an OSU Catering cake or $50 for an outside vender cake.
         Corking fee $5 for each bottle of wine, $1 for each bottle of beer, and $25 for each keg.
         Oregon State University Catering does not charge any type of gratuity.
         China: based on number of table settings required

               o    Reception: $ 1.75 per person
               o    Bar glassware: $ .50 cents per person

         Linen table cloths: $ 5.00 each
         Linen napkins $ 1.00 each
               o    We can work with several local vendors to assist you with your equipment, floral, and various rental needs.

Guaranteed Numbers
To provide the highest quality service, we ask that you provide a guaranteed number of guests who
will be served at the event. The guaranteed number must be finalized with our office at
least three business days prior to the event. Charges will be based on the guaranteed number
or actual number served, whichever is greater.
Cancellations
Cancellations received within three business days of the event are subject to additional fees.
