In addition, I was a key member of a specialized maintenance team known as Overhaul / Test. The purpose of this small but highly trained group was to perform critical operational systems checks on aircraft fresh from overhaul as well as deal with “problem” aircraft in the United Airlines fleet. This team took ownership of these aircraft throughout the repair process and became effective crew members during troubleshooting test and confirmation flights. During my career at United Airlines it has been my responsibility to use sound decision making processes to effectively manage and implement the troubleshooting and repair of exceedingly expensive and complex modern aircraft in a zero defect, high pressure environment. I believe my experience and work ethic would prove to be a valuable addition to the Power industry.
