ROAD TRAFFIC, WALES The A40 Trunk Road (Fishguard Road, Springfield Development Site, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire) (Prohibition of Right-hand Turns) Order 2007.

The Welsh Ministers, as traffic authority for the A40 London to Fishguard Trunk Road (hereinafter referred to as “the trunk road”) in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(1) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police for the Dyfed-Powys Police, hereby make the following Order(2):1. This Order comes into force on 20 July 2007. The title to this Order is the A40 Trunk Road (Fishguard Road, Springfield Development Site, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire) (Prohibition of Righthand Turns) Order 2007. 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle proceeding out of the Springfield Development Site on Fishguard Road in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire to make a right-hand turn onto the main southbound carriageway of the trunk road.

1984 c.27, which is amended by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (c.22). (2) By virtue of S.I.1999/672, article 2 and Schedule 1 and paragraph 30(1) of schedule 11 to the Government of Wales Act 2006, these powers are now conferred upon the Welsh Ministers in relation to Wales.
THE A40 TRUNK ROAD (FISHGUARD ROAD, SPRINGFIELD DEVELOPMENT SITE, HAVERFORDWEST, PEMBROKESHIRE) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT-HAND TURNS) ORDER 2007. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Welsh Ministers have made an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will come into force on 20 July 2007. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all vehicles proceeding out of the Springfield Development Site on Fishguard Road in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire from making a right-hand turn onto the main southbound carriageway of the trunk road. During a period of 6 weeks from 18 July 2007 a copy of the Order together with a plan , may be inspected, free of charge, during normal opening hours at Pembrokeshire County Council, County Hall Reception, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire SA61 1TP or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting the reference number CZ510-2-3-65. If any person desires to question the validity of the Order, or of any of the Provisions contained therein, on the grounds: a. that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990; or
b. that their interests have been substantially prejudiced by a failure to comply with any of the requirements of the Act,

that person may, within 6 weeks of 18 July 2007, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
