CHICAGO (28 December 2008) — “It came in a dream on Christmas Eve in 2005,” says Native American Life Coach and Business Consultant, James Budd: a daunting idea of using the extra one second to invite the whole World to join their voices together for peace everywhere. Overwhelmed by the thought and knowing in his gut that this was not something to be ignored, Budd called his 100-year old Spiritual Grandfather Jim Houck (Jim has since passed on). Budd explains, “My grandfather was „Everyone‟s Grandfather‟ – a world-class peacekeeper, a national treasure and the wisest man I have known.” Budd asked him what he should do about the message in the dream. A wise elder, Grandfather Jim, said only one thing, ―Pass it on.‖ And so this is what Budd is hoping to do this New Year‟s Eve – pass it on – inviting the whole World to share in saying a mantra for peace when the world time wobbles for that extra one second. Just as scientists are creating that extra second to put world time back in balance, Budd is inviting each individual on the planet, to contribute to the balance of peace in their own lives and the world by joining him and Grandfather Jim for that extra one second to proclaim the mantra given to him by his 100-year young Grandfather: Let There Be Peace Everywhere. “Just imagine the POWER in everyone invoking peace at the same time -- everywhere. Imagine a wave of the same thought of peace growing as the world turns into different time zones and the New Year begins country by country. No borders. No politics. No agenda. No cost. Every human welcome,” explains Budd. Here‟s what Budd envisions: Party as usual. Then just before the countdown begins, as champagne glasses raise to toast and the clock ticks down, everyone is invited to turn their attention, thoughts, prayers, voice or spirit toward invoking peace during the final second.
