All-new, 2010 Buick LaCrosse Joins Recently Launched
Pontiac and GMC Vehicles at 2009 Chicago Auto Show

CHICAGO – The completely redesigned, 2010 Buick LaCrosse luxury sedan makes its
Windy City debut at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show. The LaCrosse offers a choice of two
advanced, fuel-saving V-6 engines; all-wheel drive; and a suite of advanced intelligent
       personal technologies and safety features.

Designed inside and out with great attention to detail, craftsmanship and advanced
technology, LaCrosse, which goes on sale this summer, builds on the success of the
Buick Enclave as the next step in Buick’s renaissance. Like Enclave, Buick expects
LaCrosse to bring a whole new buyer into Buick showrooms.

Joining the LaCrosse in Chicago are several other recently introduced vehicles from the
Buick-Pontiac-GMC channel, including Enclave; the Pontiac G8 GXP performance
sedan; the GMC Sierra Hybrid pickup and Acadia crossover.

“We are bringing our best lineup ever to Chicago, which is generally a strong market for
our cars, crossovers and trucks,” said Susan Docherty, Buick-Pontiac-GMC vice
president. “These vehicles combine great design, fuel efficiency, performance and
advanced technologies that exceed our customers’ expectations for value, efficiency,
       technology and luxury.”

Here’s a look at the Buicks, Pontiacs and GMCs displayed in Chicago.

       Buick
2010 Buick LaCrosse: Featuring an exterior design that builds on the Buick Invicta
show car introduced at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show, the 2010 LaCrosse is the first
General Motors vehicle to be created on three continents – North America, Asia and
Europe. Its sculpted styling defines Buick’s modern global design, with a luxurious
interior crafted of premium materials accented by cool blue ambient lighting. Intelligent
personal technologies such as in-dash navigation and Bluetooth connectivity enhance
the driving experience. On the road, LaCrosse delivers responsive performance with a
choice of two efficient, direct injection dual overhead cam engines paired with six-speed
automatic transmissions.

2009 Buick Enclave: The luxury crossover that began Buick’s renaissance, Enclave
was recently named Family Crossover/SUV of the year by motherproof.com. Enclave
integrates Buick’s global design direction with the brand’s long-standing reputation for
quality and craftsmanship. It delivers room for as many as eight, plenty of space for
cargo and – at 24 mpg highway for front-wheel-drive models – better fuel economy than
any eight-passenger SUV. Enclave also offers a host of standard equipment and the
industry’s best warranty coverage. Enclave is on sale now.

Pontiac
2009 Pontiac G8 GXP: The Pontiac G8 GXP drives like a performance sedan costing
far more. It is powered by a 6.2L V-8 (LS3) that produces an estimated 402 horsepower
(300 kW) and 402 lb.-ft. of torque (546 Nm). Furthermore, the GXP’s ride and handling
was developed and validated on racetracks and highways around the world, including
the famed Nürburgring racing circuit. Brembo brakes and unique, 19-inch wheels
complement the ride-and-handling enhancements. The G8 GXP is on sale now.

2009 Pontiac G3: When the Pontiac G3 goes on sale in March, it will be Pontiac’s fourth
vehicle achieving 30 mpg or more on the highway. (G5, G6 and Vibe are the others.)
This sporty, five-door hatchback achieves EPA-estimated fuel economy of 27 mpg city
and 34 mpg highway while still providing five-passenger seating and best-in-class
shoulder and hip room. In addition to outstanding fuel economy, G3 also provides value,
with standard amenities not expected in an entry-level car. These include air
conditioning; a CD/MP3 audio system with auxiliary input jack; fog lamps; rear spoiler;
OnStar; and safety features (including four airbags) that give the G3 a full five-star
federal frontal crash rating.
GMC
2009 GMC Sierra Hybrid: The GMC Sierra Hybrid is a powerful, full-size pickup that
uses GM’s patented two-mode hybrid system to achieve 40-percent greater city fuel
economy and a 25-percent improvement in overall fuel economy while delivering the
capability expected of a full-size truck – including a 6,100-pound (2,767 kg) towing
capacity. EPA-estimated fuel economy for 2WD models is 21 mpg in the city and 22 on
the highway; 4WD models are estimated at 20 mpg in both city and highway driving.
Sierra Hybrid is on sale now.

2009 GMC Acadia: The GMC Acadia is popular with customers seeking the
spaciousness and capability of an SUV with a smooth ride and responsive handling of a
crossover. Acadia seats up to eight, can tow up to 5,200 pounds (2,364 kg), and delivers
segment-leading EPA highway fuel economy of 24 mpg for front-wheel-drive models.
(AWD also is available.) Acadia includes a comprehensive, standard safety system with
six air bags, as well as StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control
and rollover mitigation technology.
