SUMMARY OF COMMUNITY ATTRIBUTES
Albany has many positive attributes to support a new
convention center. However, certain fundamental
deficiencies must be addressed. The following points
summarize the key conclusions in this section:

    Albany’s status as the state capital of New York
    is a strongly positive attribute.
    Albany’s population base is large enough to

    While Albany has the hotel supply and room
    block capacity to support a new center, much of it
    is located in the Wolf Road area. For the center
