Welcome to our vacation home! We realize that there is a lot of stuff to read here, but these are things that are important to insure that you and others will have many happy and fun days and nights here at “Days by the Bay”. Please bring this copy with you. Parking: There are only 2 parking spaces; 1 in the garage (please insure your vehicle is not too tall/wide/long prior to entering) and 1 directly in front of the garage between the painted lines in front of your unit. All other parking (guests etc) must be on the street. Please only park in the spot in front of your unit as all other parking is reserved.

002b673f-11f0-4039-9111-43592a204954.doc Beds and Bedding: The House has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. This house has a master bedroom in the loft equipped with a queen size bed with comfy mattress. This house has the space to potentially add additional guests on floor mattresses.
Laundry: is a BIG deal for us and for you. Unless you have elected to pay the
laundry fee, we require that you plan your departure day to allow time for doing the laundry. Please fold and stack all clean and laundered linens on the dining room table. You can leave the last clean load in the dryer. If the load in the dryer is too large and mildews, a laundry fee will; be deducted from the deposit. If you are not doing laundry and are paying the laundry fee, we need you to strip the beds you used and pile the sheets along with the towels in the laundry/common area. Supplies: You should find that each house has all adequate initial supplies of paper products, dish soap, laundry soap, etc. We do not however, intend to supply these things for the duration of your stay. If your group is large, you will need to buy more products at the store that is 2 blocks away. Please respect our personal property items, such as any locked cabinet. Each kitchen comes complete with service over and above suggested occupancy and has all necessary pots and pans and small appliances. The house is equipped with an electric dishwasher There is a shared gas grill for outdoor cooking. The outdoor table for the front house will seat 4-6 depending on how comfortable each is to sitting next to each other. Entertainment: You will find some games, books puzzles, and DVDs. If you use/read/etc. them please return them in the state and to the location that you found them. Appliances: The house has an electric hot water tank. Each tank will allow for 3-4 moderate to short showers. The gas ranges are self ignite. Push in and turn knob to the ignite setting to light. Please turn off once cooking is finished. The Gas Fireplace lights when you turn the switch on. If the pilot light goes out on either device please refer to lighting instructions on each appliance. Safety is very important! Heat: The house has electric heat. Each electric heater has its own thermostat. Please do not move anything in front of the heaters. Please turn all thermostats to 55 degrees or OFF when vacating premises. If thermostats are left on once premises are vacated, no refund of deposit will be made due to the safety violation of this item.

002b673f-11f0-4039-9111-43592a204954.doc Trash: Please recycle all recyclables. Please bag ALL trash and throw in garbage can on car port or in Days by the Bay recycling containers in front of 1710B. Each unit is supplied with garbage bags and a kitchen and bath garbage can and bags. Pets: Dog owners are required to pick up after their pet. Dogs MUST remain on a leash at all times while on the premises. Smoking: This house is a NO SMOKING house. Ashtrays have been provided outside for your convenience. Please use ash trays and/or fire pits, and not the grounds to extinguish your butts. Cancellation: We will refund your entire rental and deposit money paid if we are able to rent house for the same time period. Check out list You are expected to vacuum, sweep, and or mop during your stay. If you do not sweep the hardwoods of sand and gravel, it will gouge the flooring. We ask and expect that you will leave our house in as good of shape, or better than when you arrived. Please return all furniture to its original location. If you unplug something PLEASE plug it back in before leaving. Either we or our cleaning crew will be cleaning after you. We must depend on our guests to help us in this effort. We provide a checklist as a guide. This checklist is your responsibility to complete. These items are NOT included in the cleaning fee. 1. Laundry; It is best to start this early on departure day so that the machines have time to get it done. A clean lint filter will speed dryer time. Remove and launder all USED bedding and towels. Use the top of the liquid soap for measuring soap. Too much soap will require us to relaunder items. If we are required to do this we must deduct laundry fee from deposit. a. Yes, we did all the laundry and folded and stacked clean linens and towels on the clean Dining room table. b. No, we opt to pay the optional laundry fee. We have stripped all the used bedding and dirty towels, and have placed them in a pile the laundry area. Have fun cleaning them. 2. Remove all unused food items from cupboards, refrigerator, and freezer. Place all trash from the house (kitchen and bath) in the garbage can in garage for rubbish removal on Fridays. 3. Furniture: Please put it all back where it was when you arrived. Games, puzzles, remotes etc need to be returned to their original location(s). Please wash all dishes, pots, and pans and put them in the cupboards

Security: Please close and lock all windows and doors. Please place key in location determined at rental time. Heat: Please return all thermostats to 55 degrees on Front house and OFF for back house. This will ensure safety. GROUNDS: It is always appreciated when guests water plants that require watering. There is a hose on the side of the house/driveway for this. SHADES: Please close the shades to keep the sun off the furniture. Please have a wonderful time sharing our lovely home. Welcome!!!!
