Dining:
Hotel Commonwealth features Great Bay, the latest innovative restaurant of award winning
chef, Michael Schlow and Christopher Myers of Radius and Via Matta fame. The menu is
dedicated to the best of the sea and was awarded Best Bar Food, Gourmet by Boston Magazine,
2006. Great Bay also provides private event dining.

Additional dining/lounge destinations on property include The Foundation Lounge,
awarded Pickup Bar by Boston Magazine, 2007; a true lounge experience featuring creative
cocktails, champagne, martinis, Zensai (appetizers and bites) with plush comfortable seating,
ambient lighting, recorded and live music.

Alfresco American cuisine prepared by Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks, offers a

Accessibility:
Logan International Airport is six miles from the hotel. Public transportation (the T) is just

North of Boston:
Take 93 South to Boston. Follow signs for Exit 26 Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive
approximately 2 miles and take the left at the “Fenway/Kenmore” exit. Follow Kenmore
Square signs (right lane). As you merge off the ramp, stay in the right lane. At the traffic
light, turn right onto Beacon Street. Merge into the left lane and at the second light,
take a left and u-turn onto Commonwealth Avenue. Hotel Commonwealth will be
immediately on your right.

South of Boston:
Take 93 North to Boston. Follow signs for Exit 26 Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive
approximately 2 miles and take the left exit at the “Fenway/Kenmore”. Follow Kenmore
Square signs (right lane). As you merge off the ramp, stay in the right lane. At the traffic
light, turn right onto Beacon Street. Merge into the left lane and at the second light,
take a left and u-turn onto Commonwealth Avenue. Hotel Commonwealth will be
immediately on your right.

Massachusetts Turnpike:
From 90E, take exit 18 Cambridge. Stay to the right and take a right at the second light
onto Storrow Drive. Follow approximately 2 miles and take the “Kenmore” exit. As you
merge off the ramp, stay in the right lane. At the traffic light, turn right onto Beacon
Street. At the second light, take a left and u-turn onto Commonwealth Avenue. Hotel
Commonwealth will be immediately on your right.
