Pre-planned Excused Family Vacation Procedures (Make-up Work Required) 1. 2. 3. 4. Request for vacation must include a note, email or fax from the parent Vacation must be with parents or family members Request must be made five school days in advance of the planned family vacation During the current semester the student must not have been suspended, must be passing all classes, not be in danger of failing due to poor attendance 5. Student must contact all teachers and make arrangements for missed work and make- up plans Prior to the activity, the student is responsible for informing all teachers of his/her preplanned family vacation. The student is responsible for scheduling make-up work. The teacher will schedule make-up either before or after the dates that the students will miss. The student will receive a zero for failure to make up any work that is scheduled.
