As with virtually any new technolog
y-related product release, there wi
ll be iPhone bugs to deal with. The
 first generation Apple iPhone is a
lready catching criticism for thing
s such as earpiece volume, battery
life, and battery replacement. If I
 know anything about Apple, I know
that they listen to user feedback a
nd you can bet the ranch that the b
iggest complaints voiced over their
 1st generation version will be add
ressed in future iPhone models.

Another reason to wait is pricing.
As you_ve already seen, Apple drast
ically lowered their iPhone pricing
 just months after the initial laun
ch. To be honest, I expected to see
 a price drop, but not that soon an
d certainly not by that much. Anyti
me you purchase the newest technolo
gy riding on a wave of hype and exc
itement, you_re going to pay top do
llar for it.

So the verdict? If you can control
the urge to buy the latest and grea
test toy from Apple for just a litt
le while longer, you_ll most likely
  end up with a product that you_ll
be more satisfied with, and at a pr
ice that won_t pull on the pursestr
ings quite as hard. Don_t get me wr
ong, I love the iPhone and think it
_s a fantastic product worth buying
, however, it would serve you best
in my opinion to wait for the next
release. No matter what you decide,
  enjoy it... it_s a great gadget!
