American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (American Eagle) is a specialty retailer, designer and marketer of trendy clothes
and related accessories. It sells its own brands of high quality on-trend clothes, personal care items and related
accessories at affordable prices. In addition to this, it is also engaged in offering various services including free
shipping services and gift card services. The company operates through its several subsidiaries with approximately
6,500 full time employees.
American Eagle operates through 1,098 retail stores which include 954 American Eagle Outfitters stores in the US
and Canada, 116 aerie stand-alone stores and 28 MARTIN + OSA stores. American Eagle is also engaged in
selling its merchandise through various websites which include ae.com, aerie.com, martinandosa.com and
77kids.com.
The company operates under four segments namely, American Eagle Brand, aerie by American Eagle, MARTIN +
