Framework DMVs. U/MVS is a full-featured, integrated solution which supports the vehicle and driver-related business processes required by motor vehicle agencies.
U/MVS incorporates back-office components essential to a motor vehicle agency, such as financial management, inventory management, business intelligence
reporting, correspondence management, performance measurement, and many external systems interfaces. U/MVS is a highly configurable system built with
extensibility and business agility at its core. The component-based architecture approach provides multiple alternatives for project phasing depending upon the
preference, budget, or desired approach of the state. U/MVS also enables interfaces with existing legacy systems and external systems that the state needs to
retain. Most of the U/MVS software logic and core component structure is table-driven — with reusable procedures — making the new motor vehicle solution
easier to maintain and enabling the state to more rapidly respond to changing business requirements.
