Join and participate in community business groups. 6. Write articles for magazines and newspapers. This is for credibility and visibility. 7. Develop a “home town” marketing approach. Send out congratulatory notes for weddings, graduations, and birthdays. 8. Ask for referrals. Always! 9. Send out press releases when you introduce new products or services. 10.
