                                 Cinco de Mayo Coffeehouse
                                 Come and enjoy our final Coffeehouse evening and help us celebrate Cinco de
                                 Mayo on Thursday, May 3. We have a very special evening planned with good
                                 music, good food, and of course, coffee! In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the Music
                                 Club will be serving tacos as a fundraiser in the student
                                 center (The MAX) on the Estherville campus. The Coffeehouse
                                 and tacos will start at 5:30 p.m. and should finish in time for
                                 another college event, “Donkey ball”. The Criminal Justice
                                 Club is hosting an evening of Donkey ball games and donkey
                                 rides as a fundraiser starting at 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.

So kick-back, enjoy some Mexican food, and listen to some of the best LIVE music that the
college and community has to offer. If you have a talent you want to share, we’d love to have

2007 ACDA Honor Choir                                      Spring Music Events
                                                    Spring Concert
In March, Iowa Lakes Community College was
pleased to announce the selection of Kyle           The Iowa Lakes Music Department’s Spring Concert is the

 Iowa Lakes & University of Okoboji Reggie Schive Summer Jazz Camp
Students are starting to Get Jazzed for the Iowa Lakes University of Okoboji Reggie Schive Summer Jazz
Camp June 17 - 21, 2007 by registering for camp. The camp, now in its 27th year, is a summer jazz camp that
attracts incredible guest artists and has a quality faculty. Students (grades 7 through college) will have the
opportunity to study in private lessons, combos and big bands, improvisation, theory, and software, as well
as listen to their jazz mastery during master classes and evening concerts.

Tuition for the camp is reasonably priced at $250.00 per camper. If you’d like to stay on campus, there is
an additional $125.00 for room and board, Regional Wellness Center opportunities ( and
                                    other perks!

                                     A ten percent tuition discount ($25) will be given to any camper who
                                     received an outstanding award at a jazz festival during this past year
                                     OR any student who has previously attended this camp! (One discount
                                                                              awarded per camper) We are
                                                                              also offering a discount to
                                                                              any school with six students
                                                                              attending;     the    seventh
                                                                              student may attend camp
                                                                              tuition free. This opportunity

                                                                              with financial difficulties to
