Directions to Arlington Town Hall
Arlington Town Hall: 730 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA 02476 Both the wedding & the party are at the same location. See our website for more details and for maps http://www.livablestreets.info/together.htm City Bus #77 stops right in front of Arlington Town Hall. It travels all along Mass. Ave. between the Town Hall and Harvard Square T stop, and runs every 15 minutes. The last bus back to Harvard Square T leaves Arlington Town Hall at 12:30am to meet the last red-line train at 1:05am. City Bus #87 goes between Arlington Town Center (a 5 minute walk from Arlington Town Hall) and the green-line subway stop named Lechmere— the Greenline is very convenient to downtown Boston. The #87 passes through Davis Square (Red Line), close to Porter Square (Red Line Subway), and through Union Square. It does not run past 8 pm (use the #77 instead). Red Line T/ foot. Take the T to Alewife station, and exit at the Minuteman Bike Path. Follow the bike path, passing by beautiful Spy Pond, until you get to Arlington Center. Take a left onto Mass. Ave., the Town Hall will be on your left. The walk is 1.8 miles which should take about 40-45 leisurely minutes. Bicycle. You can bicycle along the Minuteman Bike Path. Start at Davis Square (or Alewife) and continue to Arlington Town Center, then turn left on Mass. Ave to the Town Hall. To get home after the festivities, you can bike to Alewife T stop and take your bike on the subway to your final destination. Driving from the West. Take Route 2 East, take exit 59 for Route 60 toward Belmont Center/ Arlington Center. Turn left onto Route 60 East (Pleasant Street), go 1 mile to Arlington Town Center, take a left onto Mass. Ave., look for Arlington Town Hall on the left. Driving from Boston or Cambridge. Take Mass. Ave. all the way to Arlington Town Hall, just past Arlington Town Center. Driving from N or S. Take I-95 to Route 2, take Route 2 East using the above. Parking. Either park on Mass. Ave, or take a left onto Academy Street and park either in the lot on the left (behind Town Hall), on Academy Street, or in the next lot on the left.

Picnic Brunch in the park along the Charles River. Noon to 4:00pm. Everyone is invited! It is easy and fun to get around Boston by subway, bus, foot, and bike. Subway (it’s the “T”) /Bus. Logan airport to downtown Boston or Cambridge is a short subway ride— get on the “Silver Line” at the airport to South Station, transfer there to the subway. Order a CharlieCard with “stored value” online before you arrive, and use it to get the best fare while here: mbta.com. Bicycles. Free bicycles to anyone who wants one while here– let us know if you want wheels, two! ZipCar. A company called "Zipcar" provides cars for rent by the hour all over Boston; you will need to register online at least a week before you get here: zipcar.com. Local attractions. Sunday Picnic Brunch
Picnic Brunch in the park along the Charles River. Noon to 4:00 pm. Everyone is invited! If inclement weather, we will instead gather at Jessica and Jeff’s apartment, 18 Perry Street, Apt. #3, Cambridge, near Central Square., call us on our mobile phones (see back side) and there will be a message. This section of Memorial Drive is closed to cars on Sundays (great for rollerblading). We’ll throw frisbee, play music, nosh on goodies, and do some relaxing. Find us near the Weeks footbridge, an easy walk from Harvard and Central Squares. We will provide picnic food, drink, and goodies, we will bring the blankets and enough chairs for those who will be more comfortable. Street parking in the area is free (no residential permit needed on Sundays), or parking garages are available in Harvard Square. Though Mem. Drive is closed to cars in this section, the river crossings are all open (JFK, Western, River).
