NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP, one of the world’s leading
law firms, is pleased to announce that partner Stephanie J. Meltzer and associate Christopher E. Tierney will receive
the 2010 Burton Award for Legal Achievement. Ms. Meltzer and Mr. Tierney will be presented with their award at
the Library of Congress on June 14, 2010 for their article entitled “Have Economic Times Expanded Reach of the
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act,” published by The New York Law Journal on August 7, 2009. This is the seventh
consecutive year that Cadwalader attorneys have been honored by the program.

“At Cadwalader, we place a premium on our ability to communicate clearly, effectively and with precision. As
lawyers handling complex matters, great legal writing is an imperative. Receipt of this prestigious award is a high
honor for our firm and for our outstanding lawyers Stephanie Meltzer and Christopher Tierney. But it also reinforces
Cadwalader’s commitment to the goals of the Burton Award program: to encourage the development of skills critical
to standout legal practice,” stated Christopher White, Chairman of the firm. “Congratulations to Stephanie and
Christopher.”

Stephanie Meltzer, a partner in the firm’s Business Fraud and Complex Litigation Group and former Assistant United
States Attorney, represents corporations, financial institutions, investment firms, and individuals in all aspects of
criminal investigations and litigation, both pre- and post-indictment. She has extensive experience in conducting
internal investigations and advising clients with regard to corporate compliance programs.

Christopher Tierney’s practice is focused on business fraud and complex litigation with an emphasis on white collar
defense and compliance issues. He advises clients on a variety of criminal and regulatory issues including the Foreign
Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act, and other white collar matters. He also assists clients in responding to
corporate and individual grand jury subpoenas and counsels clients on various aspects of criminal antitrust law.
