Felt by all, awakened all. Liquids set in strong motion. Damage slight in poorly built buildings. Considerable breakage of dishes, glassware, fallen objects and some overturned furniture. General alarm. Difficulty standing. Damage negligible in earthquakeresistant structures, considerable in old or badly designed buildings, chimneys cracked, broken windows. Damage to furniture and irrigation ditches. Alarm approaches panic, disturbed persons in motor cars, branches & trunks broken off of trees. Ejected sand and mud. Damage slight in well-built masonry structures. Partial collapse in ordinary buildings. Upset well flow.
