					CH2M HILL Internal Social Media Policy

Internal social media is managed in two ways within CH2M HILL.

       Publishers are those within the company who establish and use social media channels to
        communicate to employees.

       Participants are the employees who access and interact with published social media.

Internal social media publishing channels are qualified and approved by the Corporate Marketing
Communications (MarCom) Group. This ensures that the social media publishers within the organization
have agreed to CH2M HILL’s guidelines. Employees that engage internal social media channels will be
required to abide by the firm’s guidelines.

These guidelines will help content published internally within the social media channels adhere to the
company’s internal communications policy in which all content published on CH2M HILL websites may
be viewed as representative of, and/or sponsored by CH2M HILL the company.

CH2M HILL Internal Social Media Publisher Guidelines

       Only use social media channels when appropriate. Corporate MarCom can assist you in building
        a communications strategy using traditional and social media techniques for optimized success.

       Respect coworkers, customers, partners, and competitors. This includes respectful language.

       Be fair to differing opinions.

       Abide by the company’s confidentiality and proprietary policies related to trade secrets,
        copyrights, and trademarks. Comply when the company asks that topics not be discussed for
        confidentiality or legal reasons.

       Remain truthful in your postings and correct mistakes in a timely manner.

       Understand your role in responsibly monitoring your blog and comments.

       Agree that: “The postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent CH2M HILL’s
        positions, strategies, or opinions.”

       Monitor comments on your blog to ensure that they are as true, respectful, and legal as your
        own posts. However, do not delete or filter any comments for personal reasons or when they
        do not agree with your own views. You are responsible for all content on your blog.

       Appeal to a varied audience while providing interesting information. On a corporate blog,
        primarily talk about issues that are relevant to the company, its culture, or industry.
      Please remember that your employment documents give the company certain rights with
       respect to concepts and developments you produce that are related to the company's business.
       Please consult your manager if you have questions about the appropriateness of publishing such
       concepts or developments on your site.

      Understand that anything posted to your blog can be perceived as representative of the entire
       CH2M HILL Company and possibly its clients. Therefore, you must follow all confidentiality and
       approval guidelines in accordance with client contract, client disclosure and corporate
       communications polices.

The company reserves the right to suspend and discontinue, without prior notice, any blog for any
reason deemed appropriate.

CH2M HILL Internal Social Media Participant Guidelines

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING:

When participating in CH2M HILL social media communications (blogs) you must always follow
these guidelines and those of CH2M HILL’s Social Media Policy. These Guidelines offer
cautionary directives that should be considered when you engage in this form of communication.

 CH2M HILL-sponsored social media may be used for CH2M HILL business purposes only.

 By participating in CH2M HILL’s internal social media, you are wholly responsible for your
  comments and will be held accountable for their content.

 CH2M HILL-sponsored social media should be used for its intended purposes only. Misuse
  of internal social media or failure to abide by these Guidelines or CH2M HILL Social Media
  Policy may result in disciplinary actions, termination of employment, or legal consequences,
  if appropriate.

 In using a blog, know and follow CH2M HILL’s Business Conduct Policy, CH2M HILL
  Harassment Policy, and other Human Resources and ethics and compliance policies.

 Be mindful that you are not anonymous.

 Respect copyright, fair use, and financial disclosure laws. Legal Department or Internal
  Communications.

 Don't reproduce public sources without permission; don’t reference clients, partners, or
  suppliers without their approval. Do not make any attributions of any statements before
  you discuss it with the person being quoted and get his confirmation that the quote is
  accurate.

 Add value. Provide worthwhile information and perspective.

  inflammatory - such as politics, sex, or religion.
