The CCIB offers all the services included in the Exhibitor Manual Order Form directly to the exhibitors.
Please remind that exhibitors or stands constructors are not allowed to do any connection directly to the
venue installations.
From all the services offered in the Exhibitors Manual is compulsory to order Electricity, water, IT,

EXHIBITION HALL:
• Only gas or electric forklift trucks are authorised in the Exhibition Hall.
• Hand pallet trucks may be used throughout the Area.
• It is forbidden to store material in any part of the Exhibition Hall without
special permission.
• Lifting platforms, emergency exits, fire extinguishers, etc. must be kept
clear of all type of goods.
• Instructions given by the CCIB Logistics staff must be observed at all times.

PROCEDURE FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING IN THE
EXHIBITION HALL FROM THE LOADING BAY
• The entry of vehicles in the CCIB Loading Bay must be previously
authorised by the CCIB Logistics Department.
• Once the vehicle is authorised to enter the Loading Bay, the
procedure to follow is:
o All trucks and vans must enter one by one.
o The speed limit of 10 km/hour must be strictly observed inside
the Loading Bay.
o Time limits for loading and unloading will be established. The
entry of vehicles into this area may not be revoked if the
established times are not respected.
o There are 3 large platforms and several service lifts for
transporting material to the Exhibition Hall.
o The lifting platforms may not be used without the supervision
of the Logistics Department.
o It is forbidden to load and unload material using the passenger
lifts instead of the service lifts (the Loading Bay is duly
signalled to avoid mistakes).
o Private cars will not be allowed into the Loading Bay except on
special occasions.
o The event organiser will be responsible for ensuring that these
regulations are always observed.
• The maximum number of vehicles inside the building will be defined
on each occasion by the Logistics Department.
• It is strictly forbidden to keep a vehicle’s motor running during
loading and unloading.
• Entry will not be allowed for vehicles that lose oil or that do not fulfil
minimum safety requirements.
• In case of doubt over the procedure to be followed, the Logistics
Department must always be consulted before putting any initiative
into action.
PROCEDURE FOR THE ENTRY OF TRUCKS IN THE EXHIBITION HALL
FROM TAULAT STREET
• The entry of trucks in the Exhibition Hall from Taulat Street is
restricted.
• It must be previously authorised by the CCIB Logistics Department.

GENERAL REGULATIONS FOR SETUP AND BREAKDOWN IN THE CCIB:
• It is strictly forbidden to smoke in all the building.
• It is strictly forbidden to use the passenger lifts for loading and unloading
material.
• It is strictly forbidden to work inside the building without an accreditation
badge (either a CCIB accreditation badge or a badge provided by the
client).
• It is strictly forbidden to move around areas of the building not hired by the
client.
• Instructions from the security staff and CCIB workers must be observed at
all times.

RIGGING EXHIBITOR’S FORM
Terms and Conditions:
- The client is responsible for putting in contact individual exhibitors that need rigging
structures from CCIB.
- The exhibitor is responsible to send the exact location of the rigging points
needed drawn in a floor plan and the weight of the banner that will be
suspended two months before the beginning of the event. Formulary “RIGGING
QUOTATION ORDER FORM” to be filled and sent (in this form you will find an
example of what’s necessary to send)
- The exhibitor has to send the confirmation 30 days before the beginning of the
set up.
- Neither set up changes nor offer changes are allowed after the confirmation.
- Depending on the stand location, is possible that some hanging points coincide with
other booths. In this case is needed to consult to the other booth in case it disturbs
aesthetically or in terms of construction. In case the other booth gives the
authorisation and also wants rigging the pre rigging structure will be shared.
- Cranes and other lifting equipments quoted are exclusively for the use of the CCIB
staff.
Set up rules and regulations:
- Is compulsory the use of approved helmets when working in heights. The builder
must work in compliment with the regulations in the law.
- Is compulsory to start setting up the booth by the rigging as this is the first service
to be done.
- Once the pre rigging structure is lifted up, the exhibitor is responsible for providing
his own lifting equipment for accessing the structure. In case the set up is delayed
for external reasons the main client (the organizer) will be the responsible to decide
to extend the set up time upon a special extra cost for technical staff and lifting
equipments.
Note:
- GL Events CCIB also provides lighting for exhibitors. Also for lighting, the exhibitor
has to present the plan of the booth two months before the beginning of the event
and the confirmation has to be sent 30 days prior to the set up day. The CCIB
provided lights can be set up just in the CCIB structures and not in the client
structures.
- GL Events CCIB reserves the right to modify the conditions.
