Michael Finn and Saul Caddy headline the growing list of players returning to Heidelberg in 2010. Irish-
born Finn was a member of Heidelberg’s 2007-08 Premiership sides before heading to Carey Park in WA
while Caddy began with Heidelberg way back in 1996 as an up and coming teenager.

Both players can be regarded as journeymen, enjoying Premiership success at more than one club and
carving highly decorated careers along the way. The inclusion of such experienced players adds to what is
shaping up to be one of the youngest Heidelberg sides in years.

Make sure you say hello to all the new faces around the club as there are plenty around this time of the
year. Many have come from country Victoria and it is evident the Heidelberg name reaches far and wide.

Best of both worlds: Caddy playing for North Heidelberg in 2009. To be sure: Finn in action for Ireland at the AFL International Cup.

Round 4 of the 1984 season signaled Heidelberg’s return to Division One football with a thrilling
one-point win over Lalor. The season got off to a shaky start that year with the Tigers losing the
first 3 rounds by small margins meaning the win was crucial in the context of the season as defeat
would have seen the Tigers winless after 4 rounds.
