Recently reclassified as a Masters of Architecture to meet new international standards. The curriculum centres strongly around architectural design and theory core subjects,
closely integrated with technology, sustainability and professional practice subjects. On completion of the overall 6 year course, students are competent practising
architectural designers with 5 years part-time industry work experience.

and mediums. It provides students an unprecedented grounding in design education in Australia.

2007        Royal Australian Institute of Architects [RAIA] NSW Chapter 2007 Graduate Design Medal
The Design Medal is awarded each year to a graduating student from the state of NSW. It awards excellence in architectural design based on the design project produced
in the final year of the Bachelor of Architecture degree. Remuneration by the Mirvac Design Medal is $4500.

2006        RAIA P a r t r i d g e P a r t n e r s 2006 Structures Prize – UTS Finalist
An annual prize for a student in the fourth year of architecture, a year in which all of the schools integrate construction and structures subjects with design. Awarded to the
design which best demonstrates the intimate relationship between structural engineering and architecture.

2005        RAIA BlueScope Steel Glenn Murcutt 2005 Student Prize - National Stage Finalist
This prize recognises outstanding architectural student work which demonstrates excellence in response to place, technology and Australian culture. The prize is presented
every second year at the RAIA National Architecture Awards.

2004        RAIA NSW HPA Mirvac 2004 Student Award
Awarded to a graduating student from the first degree leading towards the Bachelor of Architecture. Remuneration by the Mirvac Design Award is $3000.

2003        RAIA ‘Imagining Architecture’ Conference, Student Design Competition Award
1999        University of New South Wales High Achiever Award
Awarded to first year students who enter their chosen degree with the highest grade average .
