10. PRIVACY DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
Real Estate Leaders Group Pty Ltd trading as LJ Hooker - Mile End is an independently owned and operated business. We are bound by
the Privacy Act 1983 (Commonwealth) & National Privacy Principles.
It is necessary to collect personal information about rental applicants in order to assess their application for a residential tenancy.
LJ Hooker - Mile End may be required to collect additional personal information about applicants from previous landlords, current and
previous letting agent’s, current employers and referees, credit references ( as may be allowed by law).
We will also verify via available tenancy reference databases, any details of tenancy defaults by applicants.
Further to this, LJ Hooker - Mile End may disclose personal information about you to the lessor of the property to which this application
relates.
Should this application be successful LJ Hooker - Mile End may disclose your details to service providers relevant to the tenancy
relationship including maintenance contractors and the lessor’s insurers. We may also send personal information about you to the
owners of any other properties at your request. LJ Hooker - Mile End will only disclose this information for the sole purpose of performing
their duties or as otherwise allowed by the Privacy Act 1988.
You have the right to access any personal information that we possess regarding you by contacting The Manager, Property Management
Division of LJ Hooker - Mile End.
Should the applicant not fully complete this form or not sign the declaration below then your application for residential tenancy may not
be considered by the lessor of the said property, or if considered, may be declined.
11. DECLARATIONS
 I, the applicant confirm that:
 I have read and understood the above Privacy Disclosure Statement and authorise LJ Hooker - Mile End to collect information regarding
 me from:
       previous letting agents and/or landlords
       personal referees and employers
       any tenancy reference database, which may contain personal information about me.
I authorise LJ Hooker - Mile End to disclose details about any defaults by me relating to the property noted on this application to any
tenancy reference database to which the agency subscribes, in accordance with current RTA guidelines.
I authorise LJ Hooker - Mile End to disclose the personal information it collects about me to the lessor of the said property, even if the
lessor is resident outside Australia.
I authorise LJ Hooker - Mile End to disclose all personal information it may hold for the purpose of enforcing or commencing recovery
action in relation to any debt owed as a result of any outstanding rent, repairs or damage that occurs during my period of tenancy of the
said property.
I am aware that unless agreed otherwise the tenant shall be liable for all water costs & supply charges pertaining to the property as per SA
Water calculations. Costs to be calculated on a daily basis.
I, the applicant certify that:
       all of the information provided herein is true & correct
       each of the Applicants is over 18 years of age
       none of the Applicants have been bankrupt (Provide details if this is not the case)
       only the persons detailed on this form will reside at the property
       that we have inspected the property and will not permit pets without the expressed written permission of the Landlord
       the Applicants will pay a security bond of the amount detailed on page 1 upon the signing of a Tenancy Agreement.
I, the applicant acknowledge that:
       I hereby offer to lease the property from owner under a lease to be prepared by the Agent.
       This application is subject to the approval of the Landlord
       Should this application be accepted by the landlord, that a legally binding Residential Tenancy Agreement exists.
       If after acceptance by the landlord, I choose not to proceed, the agent will begin to relet the property and WILL choose to recover
       costs incurred from the reletting as set down by the Residential Tenancies Act 1995.
       The landlord’s insurance will not cover the tenant’s contents and it is advised that the tenant should obtain contents & public
       liability insurance
       The terms & conditions were available at the time of applying & form part of the Tenancy Agreement.
       The landlord has the right to increase the rent during the term of a fixed tenancy in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act
       1995.
