TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HOLIDAY RENTALS LJ HOOKER LENNOX HEAD . • BOOKINGS/PAYMENTS: To secure a holiday booking, payment of 50% deposit is required as confirmation within 7 working days of making the booking. We must receive the balance at least 14 days prior to commencement of the booking. If the booking commences in less than 14 days, the full amount is required when booking. The premises are rented for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the receipt. Functions are not permitted on the premises without prior permission in writing. Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, Cheque or Direct Deposit. Please note a 3% credit card fee will be charged for payment by a credit card. • CHECK IN AND VACATING TIMES: The premises will be available for occupation from 2pm on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 9:30am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements are made with the agent. Failure to vacate at the required time will incur a penalty of $50.00. All times quoted are local. Keys are to be returned to us. • CANCELLED BOOKINGS: - For cancellations notified in writing to us at least 30 days prior to the commencement of the booking the deposit will be refunded. * - For cancellations notified to us in writing less than 30 days prior to the commencement of the booking the deposit will only be refunded if the property is re-let for the full period at the full tariff. * *All cancellations incur a $100 cancellation fee • NUMBER OF PERSONS: The number of occupants must not exceed the number stated when booking, should you exceed this amount your booking will be terminated. • LINEN: Linen is not provided. For linen hire phone 02 6685 6247 • KEYS: Keys will not be made available until all monies have been paid in full. Arrangements for collection of keys outside office hours should be made prior to arrival. • PETS: Due to government health regulations and strata by-laws no pets are allowed in any premises let by us. • BOOKING CONDITIONS: Advance bookings are accepted by us in good faith on behalf of the property owner, however we cannot accept responsibility for the following circumstances – where the property is sold; the tariff is increased prior to your occupation; the property is altered in any way; the malfunction of any inventory articles; the property is withdrawn from letting; noise, inconvenience or loss of view caused by building construction on neighbouring or nearby properties. Every attempt will be made to offer alternative accommodation in these circumstances. • DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES: Breakages and/or damage to premises/and or furniture and furnishings not caused by normal wear and tear will be billed to your account upon departure. Please note that it is not our intention to charge for the replacement of a broken glass. • DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT OF TENANTS PROPERTY: No responsibility is taken for tenants personal property left on the premises. Landlord’s Insurance does not cover loss of tenant’s belongings. • DESCRIPTIONS: All bookings including those made by telephone, facsimile, e-mail or post are made in good faith by us and descriptions are given to the best of our knowledge. No responsibility for misdescription is accepted by us. We cannot be held responsible for bookings without prior inspection by the tenant if accommodation is unsatisfactory on arrival. No refund is given if you are not satisfied with your accommodation. • CLEANING: Please assist by leaving the premises clean and tidy, with cutlery and cooking utensils washed and put away, and soiled mattress protectors, pillow protectors and bedspreads laundered, or additional cleaning fees may be charged. • NOISE: No person on the premises shall conduct themselves so as to cause a nuisance to adjoining or neighbouring occupants. In units, Strata Title by-laws and regulations must be observed. • SALE PROPERTIES: In the event of the property being offered for sale the tenant agrees to allow the owner or his Agent to inspect the property with prospective purchaser during reasonable hours by appointment. • ACCESS: The tenant agrees to allow the Agent or his nominee to enter the rented premises to arrange necessary repairs. • GENERAL: occupants locked out of the premises requiring assistance from us to gain entry after hours are required to pay a call out fee of $50. If the services of a locksmith are required this must also be paid by the tenant. A fee of $75 will be charged for any lost keys. • GARBAGE: Tenants are requested to put wheelie/recycle bins out on Monday night for collection on Tuesday Morning.
