Job Description
Management of a local coalmine required the
shower blocks to be revamped during maintenance
shut down.

Both the wall and floor of the shower blocks
required lining (a total of 112m square). The job
was undertaken in two stages, with the 2 smaller
shower blocks completed first, followed by the 3rd
shower block.


                                        All areas were washed, cleaned, and acid etched to
                                        remove glazing. After masking, 251 Primer was
                                        applied followed by Duraspray. Top Coat was then
                                        applied along with aggregate for its non slip
                                        properties.

                                                                            was completed in
                                                                            less then the allotted
                                                                            time frame and prior
                                                                            to    the    coalmine
                                                                            getting back into full
                                                                            production.
