‘Tisthe season to be jolly with fantastic FREE entertainment at Darling Harbour throughout the festive season,
presented by Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.

The Christmas celebrations kick-off on Saturday 28 November with the Family Christmas concert featuring the lighting
of the spectacular Christmas tree.

The festive spirit continues throughout December when Sydney’s finest a cappella groups perform traditional carols by
the tree.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Families can enjoy an intimate Christmas concert hosted by special guest MC Monica Trapaga with performances by
kids favorites’ Bananas in Pyjamas as well as the elves and fairies from Wiz Kidz who will put the magic into your
favourite Christmas songs. Kids will also delight in the pre-show entertainment featuring cheeky, roving Christmas
characters.

The grand finale of the concert will include the arrival of Santa, lighting of the spectacular Christmas tree by a child from
the Starlight Children’s Foundation and a stunning fireworks display over Cockle Bay.

The dazzling Christmas tree, created by lighting designer Ellis D Fogg, will the tallest Christmas tree in Sydney towering
at 21 metres. The tree is lit with incredibly energy efficient LED lights which use 90 per cent less electricity than ordinary
lights and will be powered by Green Power.

CAROLS BY THE TREE

The Christmas fun continues at Darling Harbour with Sydney’s finest a cappella groups performing traditional carols live
by the tree from 7pm – 9pm throughout December. Christmas revellers can delight in the festive sounds of Blues Point,
Kaya, Heartbeat, Sway, Blindman’s Holiday, Ninety Nine & a Half and Sorelle at the Convention Centre Forecourt.
Carols by the Tree commences Thursday 3 December and continues every Thursday to Sunday throughout December,
with a special Christmas Eve performance featuring fireworks.
