to Simplify Broadband Internet Sharing
First addition to the NETGEAR Platinum Family of home networking solutions offers

ADSL Modem Internet Gateway (DG814). This all-in-one solution simplifies broadband Internet sharing for home
and business customers by combining an ADSL modem, router and 4-port switch in an integrated solution, while
including NETGEAR’s Smart Setup Wizard and animated Install Assistant that make it dramatically easier for
anyone to set up a network. Customers will also benefit from the security of NAT-firewall protection that helps
prevent Internet attacks as well as parental control features that allow families to share the Internet safely.

Through NETGEAR’s Smart Setup Wizard, the ADSL Modem Internet Gateway offers a complete, easy-to-use Web
browser-based setup that automatically detects the connection type, and can be plug and play with no
configuration required. The animated Installation Assistant and on-screen help guide users through each step of
the set-up process. NAT (Network Address Translation) firewall and VPN (Virtual Private Network) pass-through
protection secures computers and their networks against hackers, while Parental Control enables families to bar
access to unwanted websites from certain PCs and limit the hours of Internet usage.
The DG814 is a member of NETGEAR’s Platinum Family of easy-to-use, distinctively designed platinum coloured
