Feed Management Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager. Job Summary This position is responsible for working directly with customers to manage the post-sales implementation plan. There will be some pre-sales work, along with billable analysis and implementation labor. Travel is required. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Perform pre-sales work, including demonstrations of software packages with customers. Perform consulting or analysis of business needs; documenting and communicating results as needed. Maintain point of contact with client through life cycle of the projects. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Create and manage project plans as needed, providing weekly status reports to management. Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented. Communicate project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation. Prepare sales proposals and pricing worksheets for customers. Manage and track correspondence with customers. Attend industry events (e.g. conferences, trade shows) as required. Attend team and company meetings as required. Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks/assignments/projects. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Experience/Education Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills Strong client communication skills Strong organizational skills Work well in a team environment Ability to work well under deadlines 4+ years Project Management experience, preferably in implementing large projects Desired Qualifications Experience in feed industry helpful Experience in sales/customer support and customer service organizations Project Management Certification Breadth knowledge of FMS products helpful Strong experience with Microsoft Great Plains software Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business or a related field Position will be located in the continental United States and will report to the Professional Services Manager.
