Court Offers Seniors Free Family Law Advice
Sun City – You can check out more than a book from the Sun City public library on two Saturdays a month. For seniors and others who may have difficulty getting to a local courthouse for assistance, the Riverside County Superior Court is offering a new service in the Sun City area beginning February 1, 2003. A Family Law Facilitator Attorney is available for appointments on a “first come, first served” basis on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the County’s Public Library in Sun City. The address is 26982 Cherry Hills Blvd. This new program is offered by the Court as a public service and there is no charge. Mr. Labriola can assist those not represented by an attorney with legal advice, as well as assistance in completing forms, in all areas of Family Law including Grandparent Visitation, Domestic Violence, Elder Abuse, Guardianships, Dissolution of Marriage, Legal Separation, Custody/Visitation and District Attorney Support Collections. Those with legal problems in other areas may be referred to other county agencies for assistance with their particular issues. The Riverside County Superior Court employs three Facilitator Attorneys who work in the Indio, Temecula, Hemet and downtown Riverside Family Law courthouses. The Sun City project is part of the Court’s ongoing efforts to extend its services to the community. ###
