EQUIPMENT:
The EBA/ESA Isolating Switch and Circuit Breaker Enclosures are manufactured from cast aluminium alloy
AP601 with a flanged joint between the cover and the base. The cover is secured to the base by eight M8 x 20
stainless steel allen or slot head screws. The EBA enclosure has a push button switch and a rotary switch located in
the cover. The ESA enclosure has a rotary switch located in the cover. The switch operator shafts are made from
stainless steel and form a cylindrical joint with a stainless steel bush, which is screwed into the cover wall. The
base is common to both models and is provided with up to four (maximum 2 per end) M20/M25/M32 threaded
entries. “O” ring seals are located in the flanged joint and switch operator shaft joints to provide ingress protection
of IP66/IP67.

The EBA/ESA Isolating Switch and Circuit Breaker Enclosures may be supplied with the following options:

    1. Alternative enclosure material in stainless steel, high tensile bronze or SG iron.
    2. Alternative entry thread form in ½” NPT or ¾” NPT or 1” NPT or ½” BSP or ¾” BSP or 1” BSP.

CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION:

    • It is a condition of manufacture that all switches used inside the ESA enclosure shall not exceed a
        total of 63 A rating.
