“AJAX - ASYNCHRONOUS JAVA SCRIPT AND XML”

 Tthe art of exchanging data with a server, and update parts of a web page -
       without reloading the whole page.
 It s a group of interrelated web development techniques used on the client-side to
       create interactive web applications.
 With Ajax, web applications can retrieve data from the server asynchronously in
the background without interfering with the display and behavior of the
       existing page
 The use of Ajax techniques has led to an increase in interactive or dynamic
interfaces on web pages. Data are usually retrieved using the XMLHttpRequest
       object.
 AJAX applications are browser- and platform-independent!
 Examples of applications using AJAX: Google Maps, Gmail, Youtube, and
       Facebook tabs
 AJAX is based on internet standards, and uses a combination of:
 XMLHttpRequest object (to exchange data asynchronously with a server)
   JavaScript/DOM (to display/interact with the information)
 CSS (to style the data)
 XML (often used as the format for transferring data)

A CSS rule has two main parts: a selector, and one or more declarations:
                                                                            T

                                                                               e

                                                                               s
                                                                               e
