Stem Cells in
August 27-29, 2007
Thank you for joining over 250 scientists and physicians attending MSC 2007 from 22
countries around the world including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Korea, and Russia. You
will see 100 posters covering topics such as gastric epithelium regeneration, culture of umbilical
blood derived stem cells, treatment of ischemic brain injury, and isolation of dental pulp stem cells.
We have commercial exhibitors including Celgene, Invitrogen, and Osiris to enable you to view
products supporting stem cell research.
Your research will reach a worldwide audience through a presentation during one of our sessions.
In order to minimize technical difficulties during the conference, we request you do the following:
1. Email firstname.lastname@example.org your PowerPoint presentation saved from a PC
computer no later than 5PM EDT on Friday, August 24th. There have been
numerous problems when MAC users converting a file to PC only to have their graphics
severely changed. With your file, we will have our laptop cued up with your
presentation when it is needed.
Alternatively, you can mail a CD with your presentation addressed to Michael Gilkey,
10900 Euclid Avenue LC: 7284 Cleveland, OH 44106.
2. Size Limitation:
a. Invited Lecturers having 30 minutes to present are expected to keep at least 5
minutes of question and answer time during their 30 minute time slot.
Presentations should be no more than 30 slides long.
b. Podium Presenters having 15 minutes to present are expected to keep at least 5
minutes of question and answer time during their 15 minute time slot.
Presentations should be no more than 15 slides long.
c. Short Talk Presenters having 5 minutes will not have any time devoted to
questions and answers. Presentations should be no more than 5 slides long.
3. Video: Anyone presenting video or computer animation mail email/mail these files
separately so that correct linking within the PowerPoint presentation is maintained. If
these files are too large to email, come to the Registration Desk on the second floor of
the Marriott hotel near the elevators with your computer, USB Drive or CD and we will
make sure this is properly linked to your presentation.
4. Corrections to your presentation can be made up to 30 minutes prior to the start of
your session in the Speaker Ready Room. Please contact any of the MSC 2007 staff to
make us aware of this situation.
