                                     Category A, B and C weapons
                                     To possess temporarily inoperable category A, B or c weapons, you are required to provide:
                                          • a letter outlining your reason for collecting weapons.

                                     Category D or R weapons
                                     To possess permanently inoperable category d or r weapons, you are required to provide:
                                          • a letter outlining your reasons for collecting weapons, AnD
                                          • A Form 31 Certificate of a Firearm/Weapon being Permanently Inoperable by a Queensland licensed
                                            armourer or a person approved by the Commissioner, for each firearm/weapon you possess upon
                                            application or when applying for a form 27 permit to acquire.

                                     Category M weapons
                                     To possess a category M weapon, the weapon must be inert.

                                •    Authorisation for the applicant to be the representative for this application.
                            3. Provide details of the storage facility where weapon(s) are to be stored, and their compliance with sections
                                     39–43 of the Weapons regulation 1996.

4. pROOF OF iDentity
 do you need to attach      if you are the holder of a current Weapons Act licence of another type, you are not required to complete

                               1.   A period of not more than 3 years has elapsed since you provided proof of identity and photographs; or

5. COuRse in sAFety tRAining FOR WeApOns
