How to configure Microsoft Outlook with the new email services Great news, we’re upgrading your email services with new functions and features. These directions have been provided to help you in configuring your Microsoft Outlook to retrieve your email from the new messaging servers provided by Allison Royce. Please follow these directions to make sure that your email program is configured correctly in preparation for the move to the new messaging servers. After all of your computers have been set with the new settings, we will move you to the new messaging servers. Your old mail and contacts will remain available for one week at the old servers after the move. If you are using any other program, please visit the following URL for directions on where to find the settings for your mail particular program: http://www.netfaqs.com/windows/Mail/. Quick directions: • Your incoming mail server is pop.<your.domain> • Your outgoing mail server is smtp.<your.domain> (or leave unchanged if NOT currently smtp.<your.domain> or mail. <your.domain>) • Your email account username is your email address (ex. email@example.com) • Your email account password remains unchanged • Check the box for “My Outgoing Mail Server Requires Authentication” Detailed directions: Note: Any time you see <your.domain> it refers to the email domain you use that is hosted by Allison Royce. For example, the user firstname.lastname@example.org would have the domain allisonroyce.com.
