Our Innovation. Your Advantage.
An Innovative Lip System
for Underground Mining
• No hammers required for installation or removal,
simply pry the one-piece pin in and out.
• All components have dedicated lifting eyes
for safe, convenient installation.
Quick and Simple
• The simplicity of the one-piece hammerless pin allows
maintenance personnel to remove and install all
components, minimising downtime.
• Clear visual wear indicator on the blade of the shrouds
allows change-outs to be easily scheduled.
• Taper in all directions allows the pin to be removed
from the most corrosive cemented fines. This minimises
change-out times significantly.
• Utilising an “off the shelf” pry bar, pins are removed
from the top side of the lip with a single action
technique in a matter of seconds.
• The reusable pin is installed in new shrouds by
simply levering the lifting eye with the same pry bar
and engaging the pin in the shroud. No hammers,
no extra tools and no wasted time - that’s the ESCO
• Heavy duty cast corners provide structural integrity to
the lip and bucket in the high stress corner area, thus
reducing bucket maintenance.
• Weld-on bases provide a reliable mating fit with the
shroud and pin, eliminating the need to reclaim fit areas.
• Cast corners, shroud pins and bases are all suited to
both 50mm and 60mm lip sizes. This allows you to
fit the ESCO EverSharp™ system onto your current
machine fleet and experience the immediate cost
savings without buying a new bucket.
• The cast corner design allows easy fitment of lip
assemblies into all OEM and aftermarket buckets.
• A full range of lip widths are available for direct
conversions on current bucket fitments.
