Note: This instruction sheet is for quick setup operation only, for more advanced installation
please refer to the Digiway manual included with each Digiway.
Basic Setup and Operation: The basic connections required are ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ above, if lock
connections are required please see terminals 17, 18 & 19. A door stop must be installed at a
minimum of 90 degrees, this is required for the learning cycle and door repositioning if the cycle
is interrupted. Make sure the battery fuse has been installed The unit can now be turned on. The
“mode” LED on the left end cap shows red flashing, this shows the memory is empty, the door
can now be pushed gently until the drive takes over, the door will fully open to the door stop then
re-close. At this point the “mode LED will turn green to show a learning cycle has been
completed. If the LED is green when turned on you must first press P1 until the LED starts to
flash, then release and press once, the LED will now be flashing red. The learning cycle can now
be followed as before.
Once the learning cycle has been completed the open and closing speeds can be adjusted using
the potentiometers “open speed” & “close speed”. At this point door force or torque can be set if
required. To adjust closing force, to overcome a latch for example, mark the setting of the open/
closing potentiometers then set BOTH fully anticlockwise (zero), turn the “close” potentiometer
up a quarter of a turn (this can be increased), then press and hold P1, the LED will turn red and
then back to green “flashing”, the memory has now been set. Return both speed pots to their
original marked positions and retest the operation. If the door requires higher or lower closing
force re-adjust as before, open force can be adjusted in the same way, Note: adjust open and
closing force separately, always make sure the speed potentiometers are returned to zero before
memorising the torque setting.
At this point the “time pause” can now be set for the open duration.
