                                   Proposed New Member
     John D. Carlson has been submitted for consideration as a member by sponsor Lynne Kastella.
John is a financial consultant and a V.P. at RBC Dain Rauscher. A Tucsonan since 1984, John has been
involved in many civic and charitable activities, including serving as President of the Board of the
Tucson Zoological Society; he has also been a board member of United Way and the Red Cross.

                              50/50 Raffle Has a New Look
     The Board has voted to revise the pricing of tickets for the weekly 50/50 raffle. Ticket pricing will
continue at 1 for $1, 2 for $3, but with a new option of 5 for $10, and with no limit on the number of
tickets that may be purchased. This change is expected to result in either increased raffle revenue or a
warning letter from the State Lottery commission.

           Nominee for Rotary International President Declared
     On December 2, 2003, RI President Jonathan Majiyagbe declared Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar to be
the sole official nominee for president of Rotary International for 2005-06. A member of the Rotary
Club of Göteborg, Sweden, Stenhammar will be formally elected at the 2004 Convention in Osaka.
