Call to order                                Mayor Victor Fedeli called the meeting to order at 12:00 a.m.

                                                     The building permits for North Bay are being issued this week. All is on schedule for these projects.
                                                      MTO permits are done.

Program Delivery Plan:                   The tender process resulted in one submission. As a result, the single tender was rated on the basis of
                                         references and cost comparison for services with a North West delivery agent of the home repair program.
                                         Recommendation by committee to approve single submission from Mantech Services.

                 SUBJECT                                                            SCHEMATIC SUMMARY NOTES
                                                                  Project Development Funding (PDF): Only new AHP projects that have met all
                                                                   requirements will be funded (ie. land, drawings). It is very difficult for the public non-profit
                                                                   sector to develop this without PDF funding. There is no allocation to service managers to
                                                                   assist development of projects. In order to be competitive in 2010 we should take the risk to
                                                                   provide PDF funds so that they are project ready.
                                                                   There is $300,000 of restricted funds – funds that are set aside that would be advanced to
                                                                   move the project forward. The social housing operations money is targeted for
                                                                   exceptionalities. Judy suggested consulting with Sara Tonks to develop principle guidelines
                                                                   for approving PDF applications.

                                                                   One RFP was received. Tom discussed the proponent as being very dependable and
                                                                   informed the task force that references for this proponent have been checked.
                                                                   It was discussed that in 2006 there was approximately $140, 000 administrative dollars
                                                                   received. If the same remains true and there are no increase we can fulfill this mandate
                                                                   confidently. The Housing Task Force manager recommends Manteck services.

                                                                  Next steps: after we receive the letter, we will target marketing campaign, posters in all
                                                                  municipality offices, radio adds…



Additional Report/Resolutions for May Board
                                              Recommendation that when confirmation of additional funding is received the DNSSAB authorizes the Chair and
