Received the blue screen of death about 1 week ago and had to restore Windows XP from
a disk. Updated with service pack 3 and have recently installed Rapport. I have now finally
successfully uninstalled Rapport but now everytime I attempt to reinstall McAfee "McAfee
Total Protection" via the DMSetup.exe I get the above error... DMSetup.exe not a valid
Win32 application.



If I attempt to load any .exe I get this error and if I attempt to load the McAfee security centre
all I get is a white screen and nothing. So I am unable to run any scans either.



Would appreciate any feedback on this as I am now completely lost and afraid I'll download
some other software that will kill my PC.

Check the date and time, if it is not correct, correct it and restart the computer



* Click on start->control panel -> ADD/REMOVE programs and check for the following
programs :-

download.microsoft.com , click on popular downloads and download .net framework 3.5)
