Apr 26, 2008 Hi,
Our computer has been infected by Trojan.Win32.BlackBird today. We just installed the evaluation version of McAfee
and performed a complete system scan and the virus was not detected. We have Windows Vista.
How can we get rid of this? Will MacAfee update its virus list to include this Trojan?

Send the file to the lab,if known.

What operating system/service pack do you have, click start>right click my computer>click on
properties>general tab.

What Mcafee products/versions are installed,right click M icon>scroll to each product>click on about>Dat/
Engine/Build>or double -click M icon if new version>click on view details

Which file is being flagged, full path to that file.

in response to: paullotion Thank you for taking the time to answer my message Paullotion!

I have contacted McAfee's on-line chat virus removal service. Their specialist (thank you again, Jacob) accessed my
computer remotely and completely disinfected it in about 40 minutes this morning. I just had to occasionally click OK
to authorize some precise procedures he needed to do. No headeache for me!
