Prior to joining Wynn Resorts in 2003, Mr. Pascal accumulated more than fifteen years of casino
industry experience with an emphasis in product development, product marketing, and casino
operations. Mr. Pascal began his gaming career in 1987 with the Golden Nugget, where he
crafted a new merchandising plan and product approach for the Slot Division. Mr. Pascal was
tapped to apply the same game development and marketing principles to The Mirage Resort
and Casino in 1989, and ultimately managed the proprietary game creation for each of the
Mirage Resorts’ properties.

In 1994, Mr. Pascal co-founded Silicon Gaming, a Silicon Valley-based start-up focused on
redefining the slot machine paradigm. His company leveraged leading technology and more
traditional media-production practices to create a richer and more compelling slot experience.
The company went public in 1996, launched its initial product suite in 1997 and was ultimately
acquired in 2001. As the company’s President and CEO, Mr. Pascal was responsible for the
company’s overall strategic direction, financial planning and operational execution.

In 2001, Mr. Pascal negotiated the sale of Silicon Gaming to slot giant International Game
Technology. At the time of the transaction, Mr. Pascal retained the rights to Silicon’s intellectual
property for remote gaming applications and set his sights on Internet gambling. As the
President and CEO of Wager Works, Mr. Pascal was responsible for guiding the company
through its early stages of development. With British Sky Broadcasting, Virgin, The Rank Group
and MGM MIRAGE among its client list, the company had established itself as the most
credible supplier of remote gaming systems and content to this burgeoning new marketplace.

Mr. Pascal is a 1987 graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a Bachelors degree in
Economics.
