                                    and Athletics

The University of New Orleans recognizes the important role that involvement in student life activities pro-
vides for students. By becoming active on campus, whether by joining a student organization or supporting
UNO athletics, (or both!) you have nothing to lose and some great things to gain. You'll form new and last-
ing friendships that will offer you both social and academic support; you'll develop a sense of school spirit
and belonging to the UNO community; and the important skills and experiences gained by participating in
campus activities will make you more marketable to employees after graduation.
