Winter Training
Starting the first week of November, we'll be starting indoor rowing/erging (the rowing machine)
conditioning 2 days/week at Equipped Fitness, 1805 Airport Rd in Breckenridge.
Groups will run in 8 week chunks, meeting Monday and Wednesday each week (16 total ses-
sions). First group will go from Monday, November 2-Wednesday, December 23.
(We chose M/W so as not to interfere with Summit Master's nordic ski coaching which will happen
on Tuesday/Thursday mornings.

All training will be totally individualized (meaning it doesn't matter how fast or not you're going). If
you WANT to participate in races on the rowing machine, that is an option, but if you don't want to
race, that's cool to.
In short, the rowing machine is one of the best training devices in the world to maximize fitness.

I won't know all the specifics until I see how many people are interested, but, in general:
Small group training will happen Monday and Wednesday; we'll do one AM session (around 7)
and one PM session (probably around 6 or 6:30, depending on people's preference).
We need between 4-8 people in each time slot to make it happen.
Cost is slightly dependent on participation; prices below are the MOST expensive it will be:
Options:
1) I want to do every M/W morning from Nov 2- Dec 23= $240.
2) I want to do 10 total sessions between Nov 2- Dec 23= $150 (virtually a 10-punch pass).
3) My spouse/friend/someone random want to split a 16 session package (ie. I do 8 and he does
8) = $240

I'd LIKE people to be able to say they always want to do AMs or they always want to do PMs, but
I'm not wedded to that right now.

In general, we'd just like an idea of how many people are interested and which days/times are
best. We don't have a ton of wiggle room on the times, only because its a gym with other classes
in that space.
This is open to ANYONE; doesn't have to be folks who already know how to row nor does it have
to be "rowers", the erg is a great general fitness tool.

Thanks!
Marika
